My first yoga class was at a bikram yoga studio in North Carolina. I was living there while studying ballet at University of North Carolina School of the Arts.  A friend took me to class and from the start I was completely hooked. I began practicing almost everyday.

Once I moved back home to southern California, I began taking class with Vinnie Marino at YogaWorks. I loved the atmosphere of the studio and soon became a regular student. I also started taking from many different teachers, learning something new from each of them.

With the encouragement of a couple of teachers, I decided to go into the 200 hour teacher training with YogaWorks in 2007. I learned so much! I started to realize that my physical practice was just the beginning. I was now on a life path of yoga. I started to see how the practice was changing my life, the lives of my new students and everyone around me. I continued on, taking the 300 hour teacher training with YogaWorks, studying with Anne VanValkenburg.

I have been teaching for YogaWorks since 2010. I teach all levels, from beginner to advanced. My classes have a strong base in alignment and breath. I like to create an awareness of how these are connected and how to carry the practice into your life. Teaching brings me so much joy!

My students teach me so much and I am so grateful to be a yoga teacher!
