For the last couple of years (at least) I have had a gratitude practice. Every day I try to recall the many things I am grateful for. I even have a “Happiness & Gratitude” jar, which is stuffed with little slips of paper that describe these things. 

Here’s today’s list:

I am Grateful for –

  • my supportive husband
  • my sweet puppy (who gives me lots of kisses!)
  • the opportunity to teach restoratives in Teacher Training today (to the most lovely students)
  • the many ways that yoga has brought so much joy to my life
  • the perfect moment today when I was driving home along PCH, smelling the ocean, watching the sunset and eating the most delicious peach
