I made this green smoothie this morning. It’s super yummy and my baby loved it too! When I make smoothies I don’t measure things exactly, so the following recipe is just approximate measurements. Feel free to play around with it so it suites your taste!
Green Smoothie: Serves 1 Adult and 1 Baby*
4 Stalks Kale (remove the stem down the middle)
1 cup Plain Whole Milk Yogurt (This is what I have on hand, you can use low fat or nonfat)
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
Water (Enough to create the consistency that you like)
Optional: Protein Powder. I made the smoothie with the ingredients above, poured some out for my daughter and then blended in some Hemp Protein powder for mine.
Put everything in a blender and blend until smooth. Sip and enjoy!
